Having only though up the party about two months in advance before the last week in September, we got quite the turn out to say the least! Craig Williams flew in from Seattle to attend. Art Cohen came up from San Diego. Mark Gunsten even almost made it to the party, but had to return to Minnesota! Click the link below to see who attend the party - hope I didn't miss anyone. I just put up pictures that were taken at the event with my digital camera. I still have pictures from Craig Williams and Art Cohen to post. Keep spreading the work that there will be another event at the end of summer in 2003! I am shooting for the first weekend of August, but it too far out to know for sure. What I know to plan for next year is to buy LESS beer and more Water, can you believe that! You got it - the old boys and girls of the department just don't push back the bottles of beer as hard and as fast as the "Good Old Days". Have we all really grown up and come to our senses..... my god. If you didn't part-take, the Food was Great as prepared by Kim Carter-Hahn and Lanay McCord. That Salmon that Kirby was cooking up was simple delicious after sitting over night in the Lime Sauce. The burgers were OK, but not the same as a Skellar Burger. In the end, according to Todd Voegtly we could have bought half as many burgers and beers and still had leftovers. Good to know for 2003! Again a "Special Thanks" to Mr. Todd Voegtly for opening up his home to us so that we could stage our 1st Annual Backdoor Crew Reunion Party. We managed to make it through the whole night without any drunken women sleeping it off on the sidewalk, or having to patch any bullet holes in the stucco or drywall. In the end a good time was had by all, and the friendships that fueled our youths in days gone by, are still as strong a decade or two later in the summer of 2002 and beyond! Questions, Comments,
Recommendations?
